Consultation

Consultation times are variable, but please allow 3 hours as this is the maximum duration
In the first consultation, we will go through the form you have completed, to try and assess the nature of the behaviour problem, assess the risks involved, what the future could look like for you and your dog, a treatment plan and any further support you may need.
Consultations will take place by video call via Teams, the details will be emailed to you in advance.
Often, it will be important to first develop key skills for both you and your dog before beginning a treatment programme, and in these cases, further consultations may be required. These can be purchased after the initial consultation, or beforehand as a package.
We only accept dogs that have been referred by vets, any other household pets with issues will need to be separately referred and have individual consultations, or a joint consultation if it is between pet aggression.
We will pass details of the consultation on to your vet, and may be in contact with them regarding potential treatment options.
Consultations and information shared will remain confidential and information will be kept secure in line with GDPR.

Once a booking has been confirmed, payment is required within a week, failure to do so may result in the booking being cancelled.
If you plan to claim from your insurance, please check this directly with your pet insurance. We still need to be paid directly of you are claiming from your insurance.
If the consultation needs to be cancelled or changed 72 hours or more before the appointment, you can contact us via email to re-arrange the appointment.
If contacting us to cancel or change the appointment less than 72 hours before the appointment, you will be required to still pay the full cost of the consultation, unless you have evidence of medical or other reasons, then we will re-arrange the consultation at no extra cost. If you join late, the appointment may still need to end at the original time so could be cut short.
